Robert Brown - director of FEMA. He was elected for this position in 2003 and is expected to start his job any day now... any day now. He recently went on TV to defend himself and the administration. Regarding the tens of thousands of people in the Superdome, he said, "We just learned about that today". He claims that he had no idea that the people in the stadium were completely cut off until a few days ago because the federal government hadn't talked about it at all. What? What?! Doesn't anyone there watch TV or listen to radio? It's been covered everywhere. You'd have to make an effort to not know! Brown stands by his claim that he didn't learn about it "factually" until September 1. Jon Stewart seems confused. "Factually"? Like Brown had previously thought it was a legend? Like... Camelot or something? Either way, Brown says that his "heart goes out to those people". "Can they drink your heart?" Stewart asks. "Maybe eat it?"
